New Mexico

New Mexico dealers are required to take 8 hour class in order to obtain a new dealers license. The class is conducted by the New Mexico Independent Dealers Association.

The class consist of the following.....

Pre-licensing education
Federal Trade Commission
Special rules you need to know
Federal Odometer
Credit and repossession
New Mexico MVD Rules
Titling and registration

In my opinion it was a very good class. If every person attended this type of class who wanted to be a dealer, there would be less lawsuits and more successful professional dealers. Two thumbs up for New Mexico.
