I travel a lot. I was in need of connecting to my office computer from my lap top. I wanted to check on the daily sales and to check  reports , download files and look up client information.
 
 The internet is available in all hotels. I thought "If only I could log on to my office computer I could keep tabs on my business  while I was  away from the office."

I tried a couple of other software programs, but I was dissatisfied with the functionality of using their systems. They were clunky and poorly written software. I didn't want to spend any more money on connection software. I thought they were all the same.

Then I saw an advertisement for WebEx  in a magazine while in flight to Florida. When I arrived at my hotel, I got on line and downloaded a trial.  I called my office manager and we had WebEx setup with in minutes. I loved the software. It was so easy to setup and navigate.

I was in and navigating my office computer within minutes. My office manager could see where I was going in our business software and what reports I was checking out. It is like being there while I'm in  another state. The office manager  said "It was amazing to watch me run the software from another computer."

I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to setup and use. Especially after my past experience with those other software programs. It is great to use something that actually works and without all the hassle.

I can make a sale on my office computer software and print a receipt from my laptop anywhere there is  an internet connection.
I can even copy or download files that I need to make quick fixes.

Conclusion: If you are near an internet connection you can log into your office computer with WebEx.

Remember: I didn't want to buy or try any more connection software. I was so impressed with the  WebEx trial that I quickly ordered it right away.

I still use WebEx every time I'm out of town or just simply want to log in from home.

 

WebEx has allowed me to be more productive while I am on business trips or simply away from the office.  I can check in from anywhere. If I can find an internet connection , I can connect to my business computer.

This connection to my business has made me a more productive salesman and has allowed me to make better informed business decisions. Plus, It has allowed me to close more sales.

It is hard to put a dollar amount to the value that WebEx brings to a business like ours. Web Ex has allowed us to be more productive in sales and saves us money in travel expenses.  How do we put a dollar value to the time savings?  All I can say is; We have found a lot of uses for WebEx. I know that WebEx has saved us a tremendous amount of time which results in a  lot of money.

WebEx will help you make more money by making better decisions and at the same time WebEx will save you tremendous amounts of time which also means more money.

And if you have any doubts, you have got to try it for yourself. I am sure you will find it as valuable as we did.

• Run sales reports from satellite offices at the end of each day.
• Maintain employees relationships with accurate accountability
• Run reports instead of downloading them
• Allow accountants to log in to your business software  instead of preparing reports for them.

Other products make similar claims  but  are more geared towards people that are technically challenged or enjoy a challenge each and every time they log on.

I needed something simple, easy to navigate and reliable, unlike the other similar products I have tried.

Product is really geared towards those that want  a reliable connection with their office and files.

The WebEx creator really coughs up the goodies on this one so be prepared to really enjoy the benefits of using software that works like it is supposed to. 

Sales team have access to office information remotely.

 Something I am quite familiar with.
The sales people have access to client records that will aid them in closing more sales.

I was at a convention in another state. A question arose that I did not have the answer to.  At the break, I logged on to the office computer and looked up the answer. I was able to clarify the issue and maintained our business integrity.  In fact, I sold three additional sales while I was in town.

 

 Even though WebEx is not just a sales tool, it is a powerful way to maintain integrity and to close more sales.

Although, this sounds great when you are in your office. I don't necessarily think this would apply when your are at a customers office. I think a better approach would be to log in and check out how they actually paid, before extending credit.
